TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Identification and Scope

This website is owned and operated by THE PINCH, LDA, Tax ID (NIF) PT518616681, with registered office at Universidade do Algarve, Campus de Gambelas, Pavilhão B1, 8005-139 Faro, Portugal (hereinafter "The Pinch", "we" or "us").

By accessing and using this website, and by placing an order, the user ("customer" or "you") accepts these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please refrain from using the website.

  1. Products

The Pinch sells 100% natural spice blends and seasonings, free from additives, preservatives, sugar, or flour.

Product images shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only, and slight differences may exist compared to the final product (packaging, blend color tone, etc.).

Allergen information: we strongly recommend that you always check the product label before consumption, especially if you have food allergies or intolerances. Allergen information available on the website is indicative only; the binding information is always that found on the physical product packaging.

  1. Prices and Availability

Prices shown include VAT at the applicable legal rate, unless stated otherwise, and do not include shipping costs, which will be indicated before checkout is completed.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, without affecting orders already confirmed. In the event of a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order, notifying the customer and issuing a full refund, where applicable.

Product availability is subject to stock. If an ordered product becomes unavailable after the order has been confirmed, we will contact you to propose an alternative or process a refund.

  1. Ordering and Payment

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been received. We accept payments via Eupago, PayPal, and Stripe, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the purchase details.

  1. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping conditions, including delivery times and carriers used, are detailed in our Shipping Policy, available at [link to shipping policy].

Risk of loss or damage to the products transfers to the customer upon delivery to the address provided.

All content available on this website — including, but not limited to, text, images, logos, the "The Pinch" brand, and recipes — is the property of The Pinch, Lda or its licensors, and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or use of this content without prior written authorization is prohibited.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Our products are intended for household food use. We are not liable for allergic reactions or other consequences arising from failure to follow the instructions on the product label.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any damages arising from the use of the website or the products is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the relevant order, and we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability in cases where this is not permitted by law (for example, in cases of intent or gross negligence).

  1. Alternative Dispute Resolution

In the event of a consumer dispute, the customer may resort to a Consumer Dispute Alternative Resolution Entity, under Law No. 144/2015. Complaints may also be filed through the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico), available at www.livroreclamacoes.pt, or through the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from this contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Faro, without prejudice to the consumer's right to resort to the alternative dispute resolution means referred to in the previous section.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the website and apply to orders placed after that date.
