RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Right of withdrawal

Under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014), you have the right to return the products purchased on our website within 14 calendar days from the date you receive the goods, without needing to state any reason or justification.

As our products are packaged food items, this right does not apply if the sealed packaging has been opened or broken after delivery, for health and hygiene protection reasons. In other words: if the product's seal has not been broken, you are entitled to a return within the 14-day period; if the seal has been broken, a withdrawal-based return is no longer possible.

Returns due to defects or non-conformity

If a product has a defect or does not conform to what was ordered, the legal warranty set out in Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021 applies, valid for 3 years from the date of delivery, regardless of whether the packaging has been opened. In this case, we guarantee the replacement of the product or a refund of the amount paid.

Return process

  1. Return requests must be made by email to team@thepinchspices.com, indicating the order number and the reason for the return.
  2. The customer will then receive the address to which the goods should be sent.
  3. Return shipping costs are covered by us, both for withdrawal-based returns and for returns due to defects or non-conformity.
  4. Once the goods arrive and are found to meet the conditions described above, we will proceed with the refund of the amount paid.
  5. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the returned goods or proof of shipment.
