Perfect Lightly Spicy Noodles with Wonderful Shichimi Seasoning!
I'm a big fan of Asian food, and these noodles will win you over, I'm sure of it!
They’re easy to make, and you can adapt the veggies with whatever you have in your fridge.

Serves 1 (to make a larger portion, simply double the ingredients)
Ingredients
- 100g noodles
- 100g tofu
- A small piece of cabbage
- Chinese chives
- 1 teaspoon shichimi
- Toasted sesame seeds to taste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
- Water as needed
Sauce & Preparation
- Cut the tofu into cubes and set aside.
- Chop all the vegetables and set aside.
- Heat a pan over high heat with a drizzle of sesame oil.
- Add the vegetables and tofu to the pan along with the shichimi seasoning. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Cook the noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes.
- Add water to the pan along with the noodles. Mix well and let it cook until the sauce becomes glossy.
- Serve the noodles with extra shichimi and toasted sesame seeds and enjoy!
Preparation Method
- In a pan over high heat, add the vegetables and let them cook for a few minutes.
- Add the chickpeas and rice. Cook for a few more minutes.
- Pour in the sauce and mix well.
- Add a pinch of shichimi and stir.
- Finish with chives and a bit more shichimi. Enjoy!
