Jamaican Jerk is a bold, smoky and characterful blend originating from Jamaica. The word “jerk” refers to a traditional method of seasoning and cooking meat, typically over fire, using a unique combination of spices and herbs. This technique was developed by the indigenous Taíno people and refined by Afro-Jamaican communities as a way to preserve food and create deep, unforgettable flavour. Our version features garlic, onion, allspice, paprika, habanero, thyme, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg, parsley and cinnamon, resulting in a warm, aromatic mix that’s slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness. It’s this blend that brings to life the famous Jerk Chicken, a classic Jamaican dish where chicken is marinated and slowly grilled over coals.

Perfect for recreating that iconic dish or adding bold flavour to beef, pork, seafood, tofu or even vegetables. Use it as a marinade, mixing it with lime juice and olive oil, as a dry rub before grilling or roasting, or to give a punch of flavour to rice, beans or oven-baked meals.
