Cajun seasoning originates from the cuisine of Louisiana, in the southern United States, and was born from a rich fusion of French, African and American cultures. Developed by the Cajun communities, this type of blend became a symbol of rustic cooking, full of soul and bold flavour. It’s the signature seasoning in iconic dishes like Jambalaya, a spiced rice with vegetables, meat or seafood, and Blackened Chicken, where the meat is seared with a flavourful spice crust. Our version combines sweet and smoked paprika, garlic, onion, cumin, thyme and oregano, creating a deep, aromatic and smoky flavour, without being spicy.

It’s brilliant on roast potatoes, oven vegetables, grilled chicken, sautéed tofu or fried rice. You can use it in marinades, as a dry rub, sprinkled before grilling or added during cooking. It also works beautifully with scrambled eggs, grilled corn, savoury popcorn or even stirred into mayonnaise for burgers.
